Formally trained in music composition at the National Conservatory of Music in Mexico, Roy strives to push the limits of tradition through applied acoustics and new technologies for sound creation.

He's devoted his life to evoke emotion and narrative through timbre and texture hidden inside what we call art.

Specialized in contemporary experimental music and video art, his career spans from concert music, soundtracks for international award-nominee short films, and musical theater, to videogames and advertising campaigns; artists and brands who w̶a̶n̶t̶ need to put their music in the ears of an art-hungry international audience.

Today he's mainly focused on expanding his sonic palette through studio and field recordings, and (re)discovering new sources of inspiration in non-musical artists of extraordinary talent.
